Surface Conditions and Appearance of Materials
All items will have a light oil (in the case of perforated metal or expanded metal) or drawing compound residue (in the case of weldmesh or weavemesh) on them. This is from the manufacturing processes. It can be cleaned off using Varsol or mineral spirits and must be done if planning to finish the material. If mild steel (unfinished) material is purchased, it is suggested that it be finished or the material will rust, even just from the moisture in the atmosphere. Mild steel (unfinished) items may have very light surface stains on them. These can be removed by rubbing the area with an emery pad or wire brush.
Weldmesh and weavemesh are not perfect products, there will be slight variations in openings across the meshes and they are not perfectly flat. This is a function of the manufacturing process as these items are all manufactured in rolls. Stainless steel wire mesh will have lines or striations in it as the wire that is used to weave it does not always come from the same lot leading to slightly different shades of the wires across the mesh.

Returns, Exchange and Refund policy
All sales are final i.e. we do not accept returns. Please make sure to carefully read Purchase Conditions, Terms and Conditions of Use, Website Content, Governing law, Pricing and Delivery and Problems with your Order before proceeding with a purchase. The only exception is if Ferrier Wire Goods ships the incorrect material. In this case an image of the incorrect material, packaging materials and shipping label must be submitted within 5 business days**. Once a replacement request is accepted, the replacement order will be shipped within 5 business days** subject to material availability. If the material is not available to ship within the 5 business days**, customer will be advised of when the material can ship and a refund will be offered as an option at this point.
